The Rogue Render
A 50-second film, shot like a thriller: a bank's AI agent is one click from putting the wrong ad live, and one person stops it. Everyone on screen is generated.
Made with AI. A 50-second commercial for Imprimatur, the software this studio runs on. An ad agency's AI is about to ship the wrong logo for a bank before anyone signs off, until a gate drops and a person approves the right cut. The film was made through Imprimatur, and this is its record.
One job, start to finish
- The ask. Two messages from Frederick on the night of October 18, 2026: a product video, a comedy, made end to end with our own pipeline and our own music.
- The brief. An agent turned those messages into a brief in which every line is marked as what Frederick said, what the agent inferred, or what nobody had decided yet. Frederick approved the brief the next morning at 11:32 AM, and the record holds the file's hash.
- The pictures and the clips. 27 stills and 15 clips were generated against that brief. The whole generation cost $13.52.
- The screens. Every screen in the film is a real page, captured by the pipeline, so the gate and the record on screen are the product's own.
- The sound. The score is our own, composed in code and played on strings in FL Studio. The Director's voice is ElevenLabs.
- The cut. Frederick approved the ad inside the film at 12:07 PM and the film itself at 12:29 PM on October 19, each by hash.
- What waited for a person. The brief, the look, each cut and the file that ships. The agent wrote, generated and rendered on its own, and nothing was published without Frederick's word.
